The Bears marked veteran collector/return expert DeAndre Carter to a one-year agreement on Tuesday, the group declared.
Carter, 31, showed up in four games with the Bears in 2020.
He has played 94 games in six seasons, with 21 beginnings, for the Birds (2018), Texans (2018-20), Bears (2020), Commanders (2021), Chargers (2022) and Raiders (2023). He has gotten 108 passes for 1,259 yards and six scores, arrived at the midpoint of 22.4 yards with one score on 118 opening shot returns and found the middle value of 9.8 yards on 132 dropkick returns.
His most useful season on offense came in 2022 with the Chargers. Carter laid out profession highs with 46 gatherings and 538 yards and coordinated a vocation high with three score gets.
In 17 games with the Raiders in 2023, Carter got four passes for 39 yards and arrived at the midpoint of 23.8 yards on 11 opening shot returns and 9.7 yards on 24 dropkick returns.
