BREAKING: LSU trade two defensive line

NFL

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – LSU pulled in two responsibilities around the same time at a similar position, protective lineman.

Florida local Brandon Brown and Indiana local Damien Shanklin both vowed to the Tigers on July 5.

Standing 6-foot-5 and tipping the scales at 245 pounds, Shanklin picked the Purple and Gold over Ohio State and Alabama.

247 Sports ranks Shanklin as the No. 5 EDGE rusher in the country. Shanklin plays for Warren Central High in Indianapolis, IN.

Brown was originally committed to the Texas Longhorns, but flipped his commitment to Brian Kelly and the Tigers.

Brown is 6′0″, 290 pounds, and is positioned No. 24 protective lineman in the nation by Opponents. Brown is from Melbourne, FL., and plays Eau Gallie High.
