Breaking news:Jannik sinner first win year end award…
This year, Jannik Sinner became the first global No. 1 from Italy, and he is now aiming to win the coveted year-end rankings award.
With a healthy lead in the ATP Rankings following a sparkling start to 2024 that included victory at the Australian Open, Rotterdam Open and Miami Open, Sinner’s position as world No 1 was not threatened by his quarter-final exit against Daniil Medvedev at Wimbledon.
So while Carlos Alcaraz may appear to be the best player in the men’s game right now after his back-to-back wins at the French Open and Wimbledon, Sinner still holds a commanding rankings lead over Alcaraz.
