Ace golf player Rory McIlroy is throwing in the towel on his 7-year marriage, seeking legal separation from spouse Erica Stoll in Florida, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The prospective exes share one youngster together, Poppy, whom they invited in 2020.
McIlroy and Stoll secured the bunch in April 2017 at Ashford Palace in Ireland years after they originally ran into each other at the 2012 Ryder Cup.
McIlroy presented the court docs on Monday, days before he is set to contend in the PGA Title in Kentucky over the course of the end of the week. TMZ was first to report the news.
