Tobi Amusan, title holder and world record holder in the 100m obstacles, gambles being suspended over a charge of missed drug tests, yet has vowed to challenge it.
Amusan hoping to protect her title at the following month’s Reality Games Title in Budapest shared the improvement on her Instagram handle.
She unveiled that she was accused of three missed drug tests inside a year time frame, which could bring about a two-year suspension, regardless of whether a competitor has never bombed a medication test.
She stated: “Today the Games Uprightness Unit (AIU) has accused me of a supposed rule infringement for having 3 missed tests in a year.
“I expect to battle this charge and will have my case chosen by a court of 3 judges before the beginning of the following month’s Big showdowns.
“I’m a Spotless Competitor, and I’m consistently; (perhaps more than the standard thing) tried by the AIU – I was tried not long after my third ‘missed test.’ I have Confidence that this will be settled in support of myself and that I will contend at the Big showdowns in August.”
Amusan set the ongoing worldwide best for the ladies’ 100m obstacles of 12.12 seconds finally year’s Reality Sports Titles.
