George Edmundson left Ipswich Town on transfer deadline day to join Middlesbrough on loan for the rest of the 2024/25 season.
The 27-year-old defender, who has only appeared in one game this season, coming off the bench against Manchester City last weekend, will hope to receive more regular playing time with Michael Carrick’s Boro side.
He becomes the fourth player to leave the Portman Road club on loan on the final day of the summer transfer window, after striker Freddie Ladapo, teenage forward Leon Ayinde, and winger Marcus Harness.
A Town statement read: “We wish George all the best during his time at Riverside Stadium.”
