JUST IN: Two KC stops will mark NASCAR’s return to the Heartland in 2025.

KCTV, Kansas City, Kan. – Following the closest finish in series history at the Kansas Speedway during the AdventHealth 400, NASCAR is scheduled to return to Kansas City for two weekends in 2025.

The most thrilling mile-and-a-half circuit, Kansas Speedway, will host two race weekends in 2025, according to NASCAR officials. May 10, 2025, will see the return of the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race, and May 11, will see the return of the NASCAR Cup Series race, the AdventHealth 400.

According to the company, last May’s AdventHealth 400 produced the closest finish in the history of the series.

When NASCAR returns to the Heartland in September, they will have even more pressure on the drivers. On Saturday, drivers will compete in the second Playoff race of the season, the 27th, in the Xfinity Series.

According to NASCAR, the three days of the 2024 Hollywood Casino Weekend, scheduled for September 27–29, will include four amazing races. The CRAFTSMAN Truck Series’ Kubota Tractors 200 and the ARCA Menards Series’ Reeses 150 will square off in the opening doubleheader.

The Xfinity Series’ Kansas Lottery 300 is scheduled for Saturday, September 28. The Cup Series will return to the location of the series’ closest finish ever on Sunday with the Hollywood Casino 400.
