The London, Ontario native, 24, won a full set of medals in Tokyo after assisting relay teams in taking home silver and bronze.

At the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile in 2023, Mac Neil won five gold medals, the most by any Canadian athlete in a single Pan Am Games.
At the recent Olympic Games in Paris, she placed fifth in the butterfly and was a member of two relay teams that placed fourth.

In 2019, Mac Neil also triumphed in the 100 butterfly world championship.
