BREAKING: A Bills defensive lineman who committed a foul against the Ravens has been suspended.

NFL

Dawuane Smoot, a defensive lineman with the Bills, made one of the ugliest cheap shots of the 2024 campaign.
After being run over for almost 100 yards in the first fifteen plays, Buffalo Bills defenders seem a little irritated in the first quarter.

Moreover, defensive lineman Duwuane Smoot concluded he could not stop lead-blocking fullback Patrick Ricard from intimidating their defenders in between the whistles.

Running back Derrick Henry gained five yards on a first-down carry, and when the two stood up, Ricard knocked Smoot off of him. In response, Smoot gave Ricard a sharp knee to the head while he was still on the ground.
The play was called and Smoot was penalized by the referees, giving the Ravens an additional 15 yards after the conversion. This enabled the team score their second touchdown of the game and take a 14-3 lead.

Smoot will undoubtedly receive a call from the NFL headquarters and be penalized for his actions. Fines have no minimum if the NFL determines that this violates player safety regulations and/or constitutes an egregious infraction.
