**Pramod Tiwari Accuses BJP of Electoral Misconduct, Asserts India Bloc’s Path to Victory**
In a heated political exchange that underscores the intensity of the upcoming general elections, senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of engaging in electoral misconduct. Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Tiwari alleged that the ruling party was resorting to unethical tactics to sway the electorate, but he expressed confidence that the opposition coalition, INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance), would emerge victorious in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
### **Allegations Against the BJP**
Tiwari, known for his sharp political rhetoric, accused the BJP of misusing government institutions, manipulating voter data, and employing divisive politics to undermine the democratic process. “The BJP has consistently used institutions like the Election Commission and investigative agencies as tools to intimidate the opposition and influence elections unfairly,” he claimed.
The Congress leader also pointed to allegations of voter suppression, particularly targeting minority and economically disadvantaged communities. “In state after state, we have seen reports of voter rolls being tampered with, of genuine voters being deleted from the lists. This is nothing short of an assault on democracy,” Tiwari stated.
He further alleged that the BJP’s reliance on polarizing issues and communal rhetoric was designed to divert attention from pressing concerns such as unemployment, inflation, and economic inequality. “They talk about divisive issues to hide their failures in governance. But the people of India are wise and will not be fooled this time,” he added.

Tiwari’s remarks also highlighted the growing confidence within the INDIA Bloc, a coalition of more than two dozen opposition parties united to challenge the BJP’s dominance. “The INDIA alliance represents the real voice of India—a voice that stands for inclusivity, justice, and equality. The BJP thrives on division, but we are working to unite people,” Tiwari asserted.
He praised the leadership of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, along with other key opposition figures such as West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, for their efforts in rallying the alliance. “This is a coalition of ideas and principles, not just political convenience. Together, we are stronger, and together, we will defeat the BJP,” he said.
