Ipswich Town player shares emotional letter to girlfriend in I Am A Celebrity.
An Ipswich Town star has told her girlfriend that she is “absolutely smashing it” while appearing in a popular ITV show.
During last night’s I’m A Celebrity, GK Barry received a message from her mother, father, and lover Ella Rutherford.
As the surviving participants received messages from loved ones outside the jungle, Reverend Richard Cole read the letter to the 25-year-old.
In the letter, the town winger wrote: “I thought I couldn’t love you any more than I already do, but seeing you with a huntsman spider on your head has really done it.
“You’re absolutely smashing it, beautiful. I can’t wait to see you and give you a big kiss. You’re making us all proud.”
The letter left GK Barry teary eyed as other camp mates received their letters from home.
Before the show started Rutherford, who joined Town in the summer from Charlton Athletic, shared a post on Instagram, wishing GK Bary good luck in the jungle.
She captioned the photo “My little jungle babe”.
