The Broncos have made a roster change as they head into their bye week.
Denver waived wide receiver Josh Reynolds, the Broncos said on Tuesday.
Reynolds, who has been on injured reserve since after Week 5, was scheduled to return to practice ahead of Denver’s Week 11 victory over the Falcons.
The seasoned player had practiced for the past three weeks, but his 21-day practice window was about to expire.
Reynolds caught 12 catches for 183 yards and a touchdown in five Broncos games before suffering a hand injury and was placed on injured reserve following the team’s victory over the Raiders.
Reynolds, an eighth-year player, signed with the Broncos during the offseason for the 2024 season.
The Broncos’ active roster currently has five wide receivers: Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims Jr., Lil’Jordan Humphrey, Troy Franklin, and Devaughn Vele.
