Oregon State has been active in the transfer portal, signing former Duke quarterback Maalik Murphy, who also committed to the Beavers on Thursday.

Bowers was rated a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class and the No. 23 tight end nationally in 247 Sports’ composite rankings.
At the time he committed to BYU, the Mesa, Arizona native had offers from Alabama, Texas, Utah, and a number of other Power Four schools.
