Gibson was extremely prolific in 2024, totaling 70 receptions for 1,215 yards and nine touchdowns.

Gibson was an unrated prospect coming out of high school, standing 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 205 pounds. According to the 247Sports transfer portal rankings, he was ranked 35th among wide receivers. On the exterior, he is the right size for the Oklahoma Sooners.

In 2024, he had five games of more than 100 yards receiving, three of which were more than 170 yards.

With some collegiate production, Gibson will be able to challenge for a starting position in the Sooners offense.
