Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor (74) prepares for a play during the AFC Championship NFL football game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, January 28, 2024, in Baltimore. The Chiefs won 17–10.
The Kansas City Chiefs are dealing with several injuries following their victory against the Houston Texans. The Pittsburgh Steelers meet the Chiefs only three days after their defeat to the Baltimore Ravens, but they may not have to face top pass rusher Chris Jones or starting right tackle Jawaan Taylor.

Jones hurt his calf, while Taylor strained his knee, according to head coach Andy Reid after the game. Meanwhile, quarterback Patrick Mahomes is still dealing with a high ankle injury.

The Chiefs have Charles Omenihu and Tershawn Warton on the defensive line to assist replace Jones if he is unable to play. If Taylor is out, Joe Thuney will continue to play left tackle, while Wanya Morris will go to right tackle and play there.

Of course, the Steelers have numerous ailments, but those two injuries might leave enormous gaps in the Chiefs squad that Pittsburgh could try to exploit in what is still a must-win game for them to control their division fate.
