NEWS FLASH: The Broncos and Cardinals reach an agreement to exchange another OLB for a sixth-round pick.

The Broncos have agreed to send a pass rusher to Arizona before of Tuesday’s trade deadline.

Denver said Monday that it has reached an agreement with the Cardinals to trade OLB Baron Browning for a 2025 sixth-round pick. A physical is still pending the transaction.

Browning, who was selected in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, has recorded 9.5 sacks in 43 games. In two starts and five games this season, he had seven tackles and one tackle for loss.

Nik Bonitto, who has six sacks in the last seven games, has started in Browning’s place since he was placed on injured reserve after Week 2.

At outside linebacker, the Broncos also have third-round pick Jonah Elliss and veteran Jonathan Cooper. Elliss has two sacks in his rookie campaign, compared to Cooper’s 5.5 sacks this season. Through Week 9, Dondrea Tillman, a rookie, has also provided two sacks.
