The pop sensation was noticeably absent from the Chiefs-Steelers game on Christmas Day.

Taylor Swift missed the Kansas City Chiefs-Pittsburgh Steelers game on Christmas Day, but she congratulated her boyfriend Travis Kelce on a huge career success during the game.

Kelce, 35, broke the Kansas City Chiefs’ career receiving touchdown record on December 25 by scoring his 77th touchdown. (The tight end also reached 1,000 career receptions during the Chiefs-Steelers game on Christmas Day.)

Kelce’s great milestone was highlighted on the New Heights and Chiefs Instagram accounts’ grids. Swift was among the tens of thousands who liked the updates, including both the Chiefs and New Heights.

Swift’s modest but powerful display of support for her NFL beau essentially put an end to reports that she might boycott the Chiefs game on December 25. (They didn’t break up.)

Although fans had hoped that the “So High School” singer might attend the match now that her phenomenally successful Eras Tour was ended, Swift appears to have chosen a more low-key Christmas Day with friends and family.

Still, the “Alchemy” singer has plenty of opportunities to show off her game-day costumes and root for Kelce before the season concludes. The Chiefs will play the Denver Broncos on January 5, followed by the playoffs.

Who knows. Perhaps the Kansas City Chiefs will eventually earn their Super Bowl “three-peat,” and Swift fans will be able to see them embrace and kiss on the field again.
