The tight end and the Chiefs are gearing up for the AFC Divisional round in the NFL playoffs.

Kelce’s accomplishment, announced on Wednesday, makes him the program’s first two-time winner in ten years.
Travis Kelce secures $35k for his foundation
The event allows fans to vote for their favorite nominee, and the winner receives a substantial payment for their philanthropic cause.
For Kelce, this means a $35,000 donation to his organization, 87 & Running, which he established in 2015.
The organization is committed to assisting impoverished youngsters in the Kansas City area by offering mentoring, educational opportunities, and resources in STEM, business, and athletics.
In a heartfelt message to his fans, Kelce expressed his gratitude for the support.
“Chiefs kingdom! What’s going on everybody?”Kelce said in a video.
“I just wanted to give a big shoutout to the kingdom on social media. I heard that we won the Walter Payton Charity Challenge, and you know, I always got faith in the kingdom to show up and show out and support theirs. Just another reason why I love you guys. Let’s go get it in the playoffs though man, I’ll see you guys up at Arrowhead.”
Kelce’s foundation is just one of several projects that have helped to solidify his status as a community leader.
His win comes on the heels of previous Charity Challenge victories by Chiefs players, including Patrick Mahomes (2022), Tyrann Mathieu (2021), and Eric Berry (2015).
With a bye week secured, the Chiefs will recover and prepare to face their opponent following the AFC Wild Card Weekend, all while Kelce continues to make a difference in the lives of Kansas City’s youngsters.
