JUST IN: Troy Deeney makes ‘bold’ prediction ahead of Sheffield United v Leeds United….

On Monday night, Leeds United will travel to Bramall Lane to play Sheffield United in a match that might decide the championship.

Daniel Farke’s team now leads the race for promotion, but with just two points separating the two teams at the end of Monday night’s match, that may all change.

Burnley is the only team left with a chance to unseat the Whites from the automatic promotion spots after Sunderland’s loss on Saturday, February 22, virtually ruined their own aspirations of finishing in the top two.
They go into the game knowing that a victory may put them at the top of the Championship going into the final 12 games of the season, with only two points separating the teams.
In light of this, Deeney thinks the match could be the one that determines the outcome of the title contest.
Leeds may get promoted with just one more victory.

Sheffield United still has to play Burnley, and their matchup with the Blades will be their final matchup with any of the other top four teams.

Leeds has a chance to distance themselves even more from the club in third place at the time of that match because both teams are unable to gain three points for apparent reasons.

Leeds now leads Burnley by four points with one game remaining, but a loss at Bramall Lane will make that difference appear much closer.

“I think whomever wins will go on to win the league,” Deeney stated in an interview with Sky Sports Football on February 22. There is no pressure.

Leeds are undoubtedly the favorites for the match, but if they want to win, they must continue to be cautious of the danger the Blades can provide.
