Apology: Toni Breidinger Addresses Fans After Recent Controversy
Dear Fans,
I want to take a moment to address the recent events that have sparked conversations across the racing community.
Racing is a sport fueled by passion, intensity, and competition, but sometimes things don’t go as planned, and emotions can run high.
Regarding the incident at Dover Motor Speedway, I deeply regret how the situation unfolded on and off the track. My collision with teammate Kris Wright was not something I wanted to happen. Racing at high speeds in a competitive environment requires quick decisions, and unfortunately, this one led to an unintended consequence. While I was disappointed that my race ended the way it did, I acknowledge that teamwork and communication are crucial, and I will work to improve that going forward.
Additionally, there has been discussion surrounding my controversy with Amber Balcaen in the Moto 2 event. I want to clarify that my comments came from a place of frustration in the heat of the moment. While I still believe that aggressive racing played a role in what happened, I understand that motorsports involve split-second decisions, and blaming others does not contribute positively to the sport I love.
To my fans, I appreciate your unwavering support. Whether you agree or disagree with my actions, I respect all perspectives. I will take this experience as a learning opportunity to grow, both as a competitor and as a professional. Racing is my passion, and I am committed to representing myself, my team, and my sponsors with integrity moving forward.
As I navigate this situation, I ask for understanding and patience. I will continue to give my best on and off the track and hope to make you all proud in the races to come.
Sincerely,
Toni Breidinger
