Kade Phillips, a four-star cornerback, announced on Sunday afternoon that he would be switching his commitment from Texas to LSU.

Phillips, who is from Missouri City, Texas, is expected to be a four-star player in the 2025 season. He is ranked No. 7 at his position and No. 65 overall in the class, according to On3. He is not as highly regarded by ESPN and 247 because he is just outside the top 200 in their respective rankings. Phillips also has offers from Texas A&M, Auburn, Michigan, Oregon, and others.
