This season, Kaide Gordon, a former winger at Derby County, may play against his old team as Norwich City approaches the Liverpool prospect.
Gordon is expected to sign a one-year loan deal with Hull City, which might result in Abu Kamara moving there for a fee over £5 million.
Gordon moved from Derby to Anfield in 2021, where he eventually broke through into the starting lineup under previous manager Jurgen Klopp. In an effort to make the 11 p.m. deadline, his successor Arne Slot has now approved his move to Carrow Road.
Gordon, who played just once for Derby, is hoping that moving to Norwich would help him continue to progress following a terrible period of injury related to his growth.
However, he’s back to full fitness, and this would be his first loan out from Anfield. In an interview with the Liverpool club media in the summer, Gordon discussed his goals for this season. Gordon said, “To be honest, just get minutes, wherever it is.”
“I feel like I need to get a good run of games this season so I can get back up to speed with everything and get back to where I was beforehand.”
