DONE DEAL: Cardinals Trade Another Former Rams Safety

A well-known division adversary is welcomed by the Arizona Cardinals.


Today, the Arizona Cardinals released offensive lineman Marquis Hayes off the practice squad and announced the signing of former Los Angeles Rams safety Jason Taylor II to the squad.
The Cardinals recently won their first game of the season, defeating the Rams 41-10 in Week 2.

Taylor (6-0, 205) was selected by the Rams in the seventh round (234th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft from Oklahoma State.

He appeared in 51 games (26 starts) during his time at Oklahoma State and was named to the first team of the Big 12, the second team All-American, and the honorable mention list for the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2022.With six interceptions, Taylor completed the 2022 season third among all FBS players. He also led the Cowboys with 99 tackles, 80 of which were solo, and 3.5 tackles for loss.”
