Ravens Have Perfect Practice Attendance to Start Bengals Week

This is the first practice that the Ravens have had perfect attendance for since the start of the regular season.

Following their absence from last Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, nose tackle Michael Pierce (shoulder) and left guard Andrew Vorhees (ankle) both returned to the field on Monday.

With its opening AFC North matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals coming up, it is a nice time for Baltimore to be in such terrific health.

Arthur Maulet, a nickel cornerback for the Ravens, returned after being placed on injured reserve in early August following a knee injury he sustained during training camp. He now has a 21-day practice window.

If Vorhees and Maulet can return to game action this week, it would create an interesting dilemma for Head Coach John Harbaugh about two promising rookies.
The offensive line fared well last week with Patrick Mekari at left guard and rookie second-round pick Roger Rosengarten at right tackle. Marlon Humphrey, a rookie first-round choice, was excellent in the slot against the Bills, while Nate Wiggins played almost every snap outside.

In addition, the Bengals appear healthier going into this week’s match, especially on defense. Their 21-day practice windows began for defensive tackle McKinnley Jackson and defensive end Myles Murphy, their 2023 first-round selection.

Trey Hendrickson, the Bengals’ top pass rusher, is also back on the field on Wednesday after leaving the team’s victory in Carolina early on Sunday due to a stinger.
