At a Tuesday night press conference following the game, Hammon gave an explanation for her ire. “I am so angry with them that I want to call a timeout. which, tonight, I did,” Hammon declared.

“I am not upset with the authorities. I am not upset with the Liberty of New York. I am upset with us.”
