Cardinals star reacts to breakthrough performance

Marvin Harrison Jr. had an immediate impact with the Arizona Cardinals.
Fans of the Arizona Cardinals have been hoping for a breakout performance from Marvin Harrison Jr.
They finally received it.
Harrison’s six-reception, 111-yard performance against the Miami Dolphins in Week 8 helped Arizona win back-to-back games for the first time under Jonathan Gannon.
Most notably, Harrison scored a touchdown against Jalen Ramsey in man coverage.
It was Harrison’s second 100-yard game of the season, but this performance felt like a comeback for Harrison after weeks of struggles.
“I just try to get out there and create plays whenever the ball comes my way. I know in big scenarios, big moments, I am someone we can rely on to make the right plays,” he stated after the game.
“Any time there is a two-minute drill or we need to make a big play, I want to get open and touch the ball.”
The Cardinals made a variety of offensive improvements in their victory, particularly against one of the league’s best defensive teams. Kyler Murray had his first 300-yard game of the season, and tight end Trey McBride also went over 100 yards receiving.
Arizona finally had a complete offensive performance, which they had been hoping for all season.
“Anytime you have other receivers out there — I think we have a terrific bunch with Dortch, Mike, and Zay back there — I believe we can all create plays. I believe that having a solid group allows you to have your one-on-one matchups and then go out and win,” Harrison said.
“No one person can be out there capturing all of the targets and so on. Anytime you can sort of stretch the ball

I think it improves the overall offense.”

The Cardinals’ top pick can finally breathe a sigh of relief, at least for a week.

“It feels wonderful. (laughing) It feels amazing. It is difficult to win in this competition. It is difficult to be successful in this league, period, so we must keep going, build on this, and never become complacent.
