The Georgia Bulldogs no longer boast the nation’s top recruiting class.

Georgia’s class of 2025 was ranked as the best in the country heading into the early signing period.

However, Georgia’s four-star running back prospect Ousmane Kromah withdrew his commitment. The Texas Longhorns, Georgia’s SEC championship opponent, have eclipsed Georgia for the top spot in 247Sports’ recruiting rankings.

Georgia and head coach Kirby Smart have a legitimate shot to reclaim the title after five-star defensive tackle Justus Terry committed on Friday. Georgia has 27 total commitments for the 2025 recruiting cycle. Georgia has now signed twenty-three of its commits.

Regardless of whether Georgia finishes with the No. 1 class, the Bulldogs are bringing in a lot of talent in the 2025 cycle. Georgia fans should remain thrilled and optimistic about the Bulldogs’ future.
