Michigan football received two late Monday pledges from Arkansas defensive back siblings TJ and Tevis Metcalf.
However, the party continues into the night, as the Wolverines continue to roll through the transfer portal.
Despite not being a well-known recruit, Cal Poly offensive lineman Brady Norton’s transfer portal entry caught some people’s attention. PFF rated Norton as the nation’s top pass-blocker in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), and Michigan football rushed to bring him on campus as other programs learned of his abilities. Norton was in Ann Arbor on Monday, and Ohio State offered the same day, but he knew he needed to see the Wolverines after committing to the maize and blue on Monday evening.
Norton is listed at 6-foot-4, 330 pounds. He can play tackle and inside and hails originally from Mission Viejo (Calif.). Having come in the 2023 class, he’ll have at least two years of eligibility remaining.
