JUST IN: Eagles’ Jalen return from injury before NFC Championship Game….

Sport

The Philadelphia Eagles will undoubtedly want to win this time around as they attempt to return to their second Super Bowl in three seasons. As they prepare to play the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game, they are only sixty minutes away from returning to the NFL’s grandest stage.

Both sides are battling with some serious injuries at the line of scrimmage going into the game. According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, Eagles center Cam Jurgens has been battling a back injury and attempted to participate in pregame warm-ups but is unable to do so and will miss the game.

In lieu of Jurgens, guard Landon Dickerson is anticipated to start at center and be replaced at guard by Tyler Steen. Dickerson was a center in college at Alabama, but the Eagles’ starting quarterback may need some time to adjust to the lineup shift because Jalen Hurts has only ever played center with Jurgens or Jason Kelce.

Conversely, the Commanders are also lacking a few crucial components. Due to a variety of injuries, both standout defensive lineman Daron Payne and starting guard Sam Cosmi will miss this game.
