Lord Everett Hood, 81, and his significant other, Joyce Sue Deatrick Hood, 83, of Corydon, kicked the bucket Thursday, July 18, 2024, close to Georgetown, IN.

Lord was conceived June 3, 1943, in Louisville, KY, to the late Baron Edward and Ruby Clara Klinglesmith Hood. He was an independently employed handyman and proprietor of H&H Plumbing in Corydon and was an individual from Wonderful Edge Church close to Corydon.

Joyce was conceived November 7, 1940, in Depauw, IN, to the late Robert E. furthermore, Minnie Lofton Smith. She was a previous cosmetologist, was resigned from Homestead Department Protection and was an individual from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon and Wonderful Edge Church close to Corydon.
Lord was gone before in death by his folks and his most memorable spouse, Evelyn E. Garbrough Hood.

Joyce was gone before in death by her folks; her most memorable spouse, Edward B. Deatrick and her sibling, Robert M. Smith, Sr..

Survivors incorporate their girls, Sarah Travis and Jill Brushes (Tony), their 5 grandkids and 4 incredible grandkids; Duke’s sibling, Melvin E. Hood (Sharon); Joyce’s Sibling, Phil A. Smith (Carletta); Joyce’s sister, Phyllis Ann Collar; and many adoring nieces and nephews.

Memorial service administrations for Duke and Joyce will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Memorial service Home in Corydon. Lord’s entombment will be in Charming Edge Graveyard close to Corydon and Joyce’s entombment will be in Cedar Slope Burial ground in Corydon.

Appearance will be from 11 a.m. — 8 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the memorial service home.
