The Rams play the Robins this afternoon in an attempt to win the Championship at home for the second time in a row.
With the Rams playing Bristol City this afternoon, Paul Warne made seven changes to his starting lineup following Derby County’s midweek League Cup loss to Barrow.
For the Robins’ visit, the starting lineup once again included Callum Elder, Ryan Nyambe, Kayden Jackson, Eiran Cashin, David Ozoh, and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing.
No room existed for fresh hires. On yesterday’s deadline day, Nat Phillips and Marcus Harness, who are on loan from Liverpool and Ipswich, respectively, came after dark.
Max Bird and Jason Knight were on Liam Manning’s team, so there were plenty of Derby ties in City’s lineup. With Jacob Widell Zetterstrom in goal behind the back four of Nyambe, Curtis Nelson, Cashin, and Elder, Derby is anticipated to start the game in a 4-3-3 configuration.
