DONE DEAL: Another top talent is signed by the Trail Blazers to a two-way contract.

Sept. 13, 2024 – Portland, Oregon – Trail Blazers General Manager Joe Cronin announced today that guard Taze Moore (Tah-Zhay) has agreed to a Two-Way deal with the Portland Trail Blazers. The deal’s terms were not revealed in accordance with team policy.

On January 20, 2024, Moore first signed a 10-day contract with the Portland Trail Blazers. On April 14, he inked a contract for the remainder of the season. During the 2023–24 NBA season, he played in four games for Portland and finished with eight rebounds, five assists, two steals, and eight points (8–19 FG, 1-2 FT). Moore recorded a career-high 12 points, eight rebounds, and four assists in thirty minutes against the Sacramento Kings on April 14 in the Trail Blazers’ season finale.

During the 2023–24 season, the Houston graduate played in 22 games with the Trail Blazers NBA G League affiliate, Rip City Remix. In 30.7 minutes per game, he averaged 15.6 points (49.8% FG, 35.1% 3-PT, 73.3% FT), 5.1 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 1.4 steals. On January 11, Moore was first purchased by the Rip City Remix.
